At Boulder Family Acupuncture, specialized needle-free pediatric treatments and herbal medicine are available for children from birth to age 8, utilizing the Shonishin method - a needle-free, noninvasive form of acupuncture. These treatments restore balance and maintain children's health. Children's visits are provided at a reduced rate and take less time than a typical office visit. For children ages 9-15, needles are often well-tolerated and even welcomed... but if your child is uneasy about needles and would prefer a needle-free treatment, that is always an option! We also offer Frequency Specific Microcurrent, which is also needle-free and great for all ages.
